10am: “LIONS, TIGERS, & BEARS”
Presented by Sue Minns of London

Sue Minns will present a hilarious, thought-provoking session that will share accounts of her diagnosis of MS, breast cancer, job loss, and a family house fire (that she blames on her two cats), and how she chooses to meet trials head on.

Susan Minns is a humorous speaker who gets audience members laughing at the calamities of a life lived in the disaster zone. Born in Toronto, now living in London with her husband and two sons, Sue was raised during the swingin’60’s. She has never lost her love for the wild side or her hatred of camping (she doesn’t really have MS, she just refuses to spend another vacation in a tent).

Her hobbies/obsessions include her family, travel (big cities NOT wide open spaces), music (listening not performing, Funk not Opera), garishly painting old furniture and watching “Survivor”.

She worked in the childcare field for over 20 years until her MS forced her to look at a second career. The kids loved it when Miss Sue would tell them stories - now it’s your turn to sit back and hear some of them.

Sue's approach to life’s little annoyances and big obstacles will be sure to entertain and motivate you, as she takes you with her through her 100 % true experiences.
