MARCH 2007 NEWSLETTER
Its almost March... I can tell by the calendar and by the snowy-rainy-windy weather.
So rather than sitting around reading gardening catalogues, I found a few things that will help to brighten up the month of March.
Wednesdays, March 7 & 21:
Women's Drumming Circle @ the Dorchester Legion
7:30 - 9pm
Sheila Horrell will be facilitating.
Sheila schlepps extra drums for those who don't have one, along with a bag
full of percussion instruments for all to try.
$10/night or $15/month

St. Patrick's Supper @ Riny's Bakery & Cafe on Hamilton Road in downtown
Dorchester.

She'll be serving up an Irish Stew and some Irish bread and salad and desserts
that'll make you droooool.
Friday, March 23:
Sonic Medicine - The Ancient Art of Sound Healing @ The Lotus Centre, London
7 - 10pm
Jocelyn Drainie will lead you through an experiential evening of sonic medicine.
To quote Jocelyn, "Sonic medicine is widely used in various cultures
as a way of creating sacred ritual and ceremony. Sound work gives rise to
'soul work'. It encourages us to release the intellect so that we may become
fully present to our heart centre, our intuition, and our connection to the
Great Mystery. It's also very relaxing and fun!"
